The mission of the summit is to inspire new and visible communities of diverse outdoor people to actively engage and share ideas in the natural environment.

WHAT IS THE SUMMIT?
We invite representatives from marginalised outdoor community groups to take part in a residential weekend of workshops, providing these outdoor community leaders focused on POC audiences the opportunity to share their knowledge, lived experience and their outdoor activities with others.
It’s a space for ideas to grow and experiences to be shared between people who face similar challenges.
UTILISING THE POWER IN THE ROOM
We have found that some Governing Bodies are keen to more fully understand the needs and concerns of minority groups.
We invite guest speakers to give talks on measures they have implemented to increase participation and to receive feedback on ways this could be improved.
